UNACCUSTOMED TO ENCOUNTERS

The serial of drawings named "Unaccustomed to encounters" is realized using a mixed technique on the paper. By choosing a human portrait as a theme, I am trying to give answers to the questions "Who are they?", "What has made them come together?", "What do they think about?" etc.

The drawings are made mostly in the contrast of black and white elements, sometimes surrounded with floral motives and animal figures, such as leaves, trees and birds. Those objects for me refer to the personification of life. The figures of a woman and a man form an external image of an inner dialogue through which the aspects of the soul are revealed.

The bond between the figures is more than romantic, intensive or random. For me, this represents a constant intention of becoming complete through personal ambivalence, through black and white.
